Long story short- Yes. We need to change methods to STEAM. However it is proven safe to continue with encapsulation. I have the research articles- just ask for them if you would like to review them too.

So start by filling out the contact form. We will schedule a consult- bring all your questions, concerns and information if you would like a payment plan. After we talk, I will send you a contract and invoice. To book me, you will need to sign and pay the deposit within 7 days. After that, I am on-call for you. When you are admitted to the hospital, shoot me a text. When baby is born, call me and we will schedule pick-up. Once I have picked up your placenta, I will begin processing. I will drop your placenta back off with you within 24-72 hours. Follow the dosage chart provided and begin taking your capsules whenever you receive your placenta!

If you are birthing outside of your personal home (Birth center or hospital), Bring a cooler with two ziplock bags. Ask your birth team to double bag your placenta and place it into the cooler with ice.

Many hospitals ask for the removal of the organ within 2 hours postpartum. Please be prepared to either take the placenta home or arrange for someone to pick it up. Sometimes I can offer immediate pick-up so please inform me of delivery even if it is middle of the night.

I can be hired at any point as long as I have space in my schedule. (And if I don’t, one of my trusted collegues do- so still reach out!) If you have a placenta in your fridge, freezer or in your hospital room- just text me or give me a call and we’ll make sure it’s safe to move forward!

I have taken several training to ensure I am learning as much as I can. I study research and have taken research level courses at Midwives College of Utah that specifically teaches how to interpret statistics.

Additionally, my job history includes working in a vitamin factory and managing in food service. I also work in a birth center as a birth assistant.

All three of these jobs have taught me how to work with supplements, how to keep food safe, and how to manage working specifically with blood. I combined the three to create Murmuring Rock.

My work space is separate from my home kitchen. It is gated off from my children and pets. Most of my equipment is stainless steel. I utilize healthcare bleach to clean everything. I follow all food safe requirements when storing/preparing your placenta. I hold active bloodborne pathogen certificates and an active food handlers permit card.
