Hi, I’m Karalynn, placenta encapsulator, doula, mother of four, and lifelong advocate for empowered birth and postpartum care.
My journey into birth work began with a deep respect for the wisdom of the body and a belief that every person deserves to feel supported, informed, and seen in their choices. I’ve trained under the guidance of Kaci Griffin at Labor With Kaci and Cari Kenner, and while I’ve paused my path toward midwifery to raise my children, that calling still pulses strong. I plan to return to it in the coming years.
Today, I offer placenta encapsulation services throughout most of Western Washington, including:
Capsules (raw or Traditional Chinese Method)
Tinctures
Healing salves
Placenta prints
Umbilical cord keepsakes
With birth location pickup and porch drop-off, my turnaround time is typically within 24–72 hours — because I know just how vital those first days of postpartum can be.
But what I truly offer goes beyond a list of services:
I bring a commitment to education, autonomy, and deep listening. I believe in clear communication, evidence-informed choices, and your right to shape your postpartum experience in the way that feels best for you.
When I’m not working with placentas or holding space for new families, you’ll find me hiking through Washington’s forests, tending to our micro farm, or adventuring with my own little crew of four. Every part of my life is rooted in nurturing. It’s a gift to extend that care to the families I serve.
If you're pregnant and seeking a grounded, respectful, and holistic approach to your postpartum journey, I’d be honored to support you.
Let’s talk about how I can help you feel more balanced, nourished, and supported as you step into this powerful chapter.
