Increased energy and mood stabilization
Support for milk production
A smoother emotional transition in the early postpartum weeks

Birth Doula $1400
A birth doula is a support for the emotional, educational and physical side of birth. We do not replace your partner and we are not medical support. (We do not catch baby, fetal heart tones, blood pressures or make assessments). We work in all birth settings in all birth locations; C-sections, home-births, inductions or whatever the mode of birth!
My total fee is $1400 due by 36 weeks. I ask for a deposit of $400 to hold your due date on my calendar. $500 is due by 28 weeks and $500 is due by 36 weeks. I am able to work on payment plans that break this down further to be more affordable for your family. The deposit is due when decided to hire me.
What’s Included:
24/7 On-call
Babies come day or night and when they choose. I am available from the time of hiring day or night for your needs.Prenatal planning appointments
I offer 2-3 prenatal planning appointments. These last 2 hours usually and include birth plan building, getting to know each other, education on the birth process (Not a full birth education course), postpartum planning, and positioning.Labor support
Once the big day arrives, I will support your birth and up to 3 hours postpartum. I come when you’re ready for me. We will talk prenatally about when the best time to call me in is. Ultimately, I am not an “active labor doula”. Call me in when you need me!Postpartum processing
After the big day, we will visit 3 more times in the postpartum. I come back at day 3, week 3 and week 6 to process postpartum. I am available via text or call during the entire 6 weeks postpartum. While our contract ends at 6 weeks, I am always around for general questions or help finding providers. Truthfully, postpartum is for life and once parents- we always need provider referrals to the best for our babies!
Why hire a doula?
Many people who hire doulas report benefits such as:
Fewer medical interventions
Shorter labors/less painful labors
More positive birth outcomes
Better communication with birth teams/better informed consent for procedures
More positive experience for partners
Familiar face during the birthing process
Assistance to know when to go to the hospital
Doulas are the experts in knowing how to support families through birth emotionally, educationally, and physically. Sometimes doula support is more for the birth partner to feel confident in supporting through the birthing process. Doulas are highly recommended for all birthing people, not just for the first baby. A common misconception is that “I hired a midwife- I don’t need a doula” but the truth is, your midwife is not going to provide early labor support, hip squeezing, or even transfer with you to the hospital if you need higher levels of care. This is a reason to hire a doula even if you are birthing outside of the hospital system with a midwife!
I offer a discount on birth doula services and placenta encapsulation. To book me for both services is $1575.
